Volunteer Opportunities

As a non-profit, charitable organization, the Agency welcomes and encourages Volunteers who are willing to donate their time to assist the Agency in meeting the needs of its Clients. The following Volunteer Opportunities are available to those who are interested and these needs are ongoing:

• Receptionist - Greeting Clients and Visitors, answering phones.
• Food Pantry - Sorting, arranging and bagging food for Clients.
• Creating an Agency Newsletter.
• Writing "Thank You" notes to Agency Donors.
• Picking up donations - Food, Clothing, etc.
• Clothes Closet - Folding, sorting and arranging clothes.
• Speakers Bureau - Speaking to various groups about Greer Relief and Resources, Inc. (Training is provided).
• Agency Board Members - Helping with fund raisers and attending meetings.

Donated Items Needed

As a non-profit, charitable organization, the Agency relies on donated items to help meet the needs of its Clients. The following items are needed and these needs are ongoing.

• Download the Greer Relief Food Wish List here.
• Items for the food pantry - Peanut butter, jelly, canned goods, etc.
• Items for babies - Diapers, baby oil, baby powder, etc.
• Household cleaning supplies
• Grooming products - Soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
• Paper Goods - Toilet paper and paper towels
