• Greer Community Garden: Greer Relief is excited to be part of this wonderful collaboration to provide fresh vegetables and flowers to the community.  Greer Relief has a plot and we need as many volunteer gardeners as possible.  Please contact Maddie at (864) 848-5355 / This email address is being protected from spambots. • BI-LO Charities boostersplus: This is the easiest fundraiser Greer Relief will ever ask you to help with and it does not cost you a penny! The enrollment process is easy and you only have to sign up once a year. On your next trip to your local BI-LO. First scan your BI-LO Bonus Card, then scan the Greer Relief boostersplus barcode. Starting the month after you register, BI-LO Charities will donate up to 1% of your purchase amount to Greer Relief. The scan is good till June, then you must rescan to opt back into the program. For further information on the program click the boostersplus logo. Thank you!

• Ways To Give: Add the Greer Relief and Resources Agency toolbar to IE or Firefox, each time you shop at one of the more than 2,500 participating stores, a percentage of what you spend will be donated to us at no extra cost to you! (you could even save money as the toolbar provides coupons and deals). The toolbar also has a search box and each time you search the Internet, about a penny is donated to us. No registration is required!

• Timestwo...products are flying off the rack at Acme General Store in downtown Greer:a one-for-one company, operating on the concept of "BUY = GIVE." There pledge is for every purchase to generate a donation that helps someone in need in the local community. If you BUY a toothbrush from timestwo, they will GIVE a toothbrush to someone in need, right here in Greer. Every day, as we go about our lives, there are people who just need a helping hand. Timestwo and Greer Relief are committed to working together to be that helping hand, clothed in seemingly ordinary acts of kindness and giving. It‘s so much more than buying a toothbrush – it‘s creating a ripple effect of giving that leads to a sustainable community.

• Caring People Working Together:Double Your Donation! We have a special matching opportunity, Greer Relief can receive a dollar-for-dollar match for all donations designated with CPW. These donations go out dollar-for-dollar for emergency financial utility assistance. Every contribution is greatly appreciated and will help those in the community who are struggling to make ends meet.

• Volunteers Needed Daily!Greer Relief is in need of dedicated volunteers who are interested in serving a Greater Greer Community. Volunteer opportunities include administration, food drive coordinator, facility support, special events,. 2012 Past Events

• 20th Annual NACL Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, Saturday, May 12th: Greer Relief collected loaded over 272 postal bins full of food equaling 13,237 lbs onto a U-Haul from All Star Storage. This food drive fills our food pantry through the summer and sometimes into winter. Thank you to all who donated and all who volunteered!

• Sauce for a Cause, Wednesday, April 25th: Greer Relief partnered again with John Knox Presbyterian to host a spaghetti dinner and raised over $700! Thank you JOHN KNOX.  

• 2012 VITA, January - April 17th: 240 tax returns = $214,506...averaging $894 per household were filed from Greer Relief in 2012.  The Program provided free tax help to low- to moderate-income ($50,000 and below) people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers receive training to help prepare basic tax returns and free electronic filing in communities across the country.

• 2012 Roses for Relief, March 17th:  Roses went GREEN, to celebrate the wonderful Irish tradition of St. Patrick's. The Silent Auction, Irish Menu catered by Ember, and Live Band created the BEST Roses for Relief and St. Patrick's Day party raising $13,200!  Save the date for next year's Roses for Relief...Spurs & Furs Country Western event March 16, 2013! • Rummage for a Reason, February 24^th - February 25th: sponsored by Uptown of Spartanburg Sertoma Club helped Greer Relief raised over $700 at Rummage for A Reason...Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who helped make this event possible!

• Bill Ball's 1st Annual BRRR in GRRR ice Bowl, January 21st: presented by the Greer Disc Golf Club, raised $1,520 & 800 lbs of food for Greer Relief! Thanks for making a cold, wet rainy day a success!
